Tractor-Trailer Strikes Pedestrian in a Near-Fatal Accident

A man is in critical condition after a semi-truck driver hits him on I-20 in the early morning of June 10th.
The victim was walking on the west side of the highway when he was hit. The driver stopped and cooperated with officers when they arrived on the scene.
“It’s disturbing how often commercial truck crashes could have been prevented by better training, better supervision, and simply following the federal regulations,” trucking lawyer, Bradley Pratt states. “When drivers fail at following the regulations set in place, there are often deadly consequences.”
The man, said to be in critical condition, is still being treated at Grady Memorial Hospital and hospital officials currently need help identifying him.
